Arweave Community Member Clarifies Block Cache Issue
Recently, an Arweave community member @mil_itia clarified on social media that the Arweave (AR) network is functioning normally with no issues in block generation or transaction processing. The confusion stems from Viewblock blockchain explorer using local cached data instead of the actual network block height, causing outdated information to display.
Block Height Stagnation Sparks Concerns
Data from arscan showed that no new blocks were recorded on the Arweave network for over 24 hours. The last known block, numbered 1,851,686, was generated at 11:18:15 CST on February 6th. This situation raised concerns among some users about the network's performance.
Development Team Actively Addressing the Issue
Currently, the development team has acknowledged the problem and is actively working on a resolution. The community advises users to remain patient and verify information through alternative trusted sources to prevent potential misinterpretation caused by cache-related display issues.
