Binance Charity Unveils $3 Million Relief Package for Venezuela Earthquake Victims

In response to the recent earthquake in Venezuela, Binance Charity has launched a comprehensive relief initiative valued at $3 million. The program is designed to deliver immediate financial assistance to affected users and reduce essential transaction costs during the recovery period.

Direct Aid: Token Voucher Distribution and Eligibility

The centerpiece of the relief effort is the distribution of 20 USDT token vouchers to eligible users. To ensure aid reaches intended recipients, qualification will be determined based on Proof of Address (POA) and electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) verification completed by users before June 26, 2026.

  • Covered Regions: The aid will focus on the seven hardest-hit states: La Guaira, Distrito Capital, Miranda, Aragua, Carabobo, Falcón, and Yaracuy.
  • Distribution Timeline: Qualified users who successfully complete POA verification can expect to receive funds within 30 days.

Essential Support: 7-Day Comprehensive Fee Waivers

Complementing the direct aid, Binance is implementing temporary fee waivers on services frequently used by Venezuelans to alleviate daily financial pressures.

C2C Trading Fee Waiver: Effective immediately, all Peer-to-Peer (C2C) transactions priced in Venezuelan Bolívar (VES) will incur zero fees for a period of 7 days.

Merchant Payment Fee Waiver: Concurrently, transaction fees for all merchants in Venezuela who accept Binance Pay will be fully waived.

These fee relief measures are active until July 2, 2026 (local time), providing prompt cost reduction for local communities and businesses.
