Binance Revises Spot Trading Pairs, Four Sets to Be Delisted
Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced the removal of several spot trading pairs, effective July 17 at 11:00 AM (UTC+8). The affected pairs include GLM/BTC, KNC/BTC, ONT/BTC, and XAI/USDC.
Delisting Schedule and User Actions
Trading for these pairs will be halted entirely at the specified time. Additionally, spot trading bot services tied to these pairs will be terminated simultaneously. If you are using automated tools for these markets, it’s recommended to review and adjust your bot strategies beforehand or cancel them to avoid unintended orders.
It’s important to note that the delisting only applies to these specific trading combinations. The underlying tokens—GLM, KNC, ONT, and XAI—will remain available on Binance Spot through other trading pairs.
A Routine Platform Review
Binance indicated that the decision follows a recent routine market review. Major exchanges periodically evaluate listed trading pairs based on factors such as liquidity depth, trading volume, and user demand. Removing certain pairs helps streamline the trading environment and allocate resources to more active markets.
Users holding these assets may consider switching to other popular trading avenues, such as pairs with USDT or BNB, which typically offer sufficient market depth.
