Binance Broadens Derivatives Suite with US Stock Perpetuals

In a move to diversify its financial offerings, Binance, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange, has integrated traditional market assets into its futures platform. The exchange recently rolled out seven new perpetual contracts settled in USDT, with the underlying assets being popular equities listed on U.S. stock markets.

New Listings Span Multiple Sectors

The newly added contracts represent companies from technology, entertainment, and infrastructure sectors, providing traders with exposure to a wider range of markets. The specific tickers now available are:

  • UiPath (PATH): A leader in robotic process automation software.
  • AMC Entertainment (AMC): The meme-stock favorite cinema chain.
  • Cypherpunk Technologies (CYPH): A firm focused on privacy and encryption technologies.
  • Arista Networks (ANET): A provider of cloud networking solutions.
  • Hut 8 (HUT): A prominent North American Bitcoin mining and digital asset management company.
  • Applied Digital (APLD): A company that designs and operates high-performance data centers.
  • Axe Compute (AGPU): An entity specializing in GPU-accelerated computing.

Trading with Leverage and Low Entry

These contracts come with features tailored for the crypto-native trading community. Each of the seven contracts supports leverage of up to 20x, allowing traders to amplify their market positions. To encourage participation, Binance has set a low minimum notional value of just 5 USDT per trade, making these equity derivatives accessible even to those with smaller capital.

This expansion signals Binance's strategy to become a more comprehensive trading hub. By offering perpetual contracts on U.S. stocks, the platform enables users to speculate on traditional equity price movements alongside cryptocurrencies, all within a single ecosystem.
