Binance Temporarily Halts INJ Transfers for Network Upgrade
In a recent announcement, leading crypto exchange Binance confirmed its full support for the scheduled upgrade and hard fork of the Injective (INJ) network. To ensure a seamless transition, the platform will suspend all INJ deposit and withdrawal services starting from 10:00 PM Beijing Time (14:00 UTC) on September 24.
Upgrade Schedule and User Guidance
The network upgrade is set to trigger at block height 184,394,000. Based on current block times, the process is expected to conclude around 11:00 PM Beijing Time on the same day. Here’s what users need to know:
- Service Suspension: Begins at 22:00 (Beijing Time), September 24.
- Estimated Duration: Approximately one hour, completing around 23:00.
- Trading Unaffected: All INJ spot trading pairs will remain fully operational during the upgrade.
- Asset Safety: All user holdings of INJ are secure and will not be impacted.
Post-Upgrade Process and Platform Role
Binance's technical team will manage all backend requirements associated with the hard fork, requiring no action from users. The exchange will reopen deposit and withdrawal channels for INJ shortly after the upgraded Injective mainnet is verified to be stable.
Importantly, Binance will not issue a separate notification when services resume. Users can check the status of their wallet or attempt a transaction after 23:00 Beijing Time to confirm that normal service has been restored.
