CME Group to Launch Round-the-Clock Electronic Trading for Crypto Options and Futures

New Service to Expand Crypto Trading Hours

CME Group recently updated its cryptocurrency futures FAQ, announcing plans to roll out round-the-clock electronic trading for crypto options and futures. This enhancement is expected to extend market access and improve liquidity for participants.

XRP and SOL Futures Now Available

Futures contracts for XRP (QXRP) and SOL (QSOL) with spot pricing are now open for trading, providing more flexibility for investors. Currently, crypto futures trade for 23 hours daily, with a one-hour maintenance window from Monday to Thursday.

Current Trading Schedule

• Trading week starts at 6:00 PM ET on Sundays
• Ends at 5:00 PM ET on Fridays
• Daily one-hour break from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM ET on weekdays
