Coinbase Markets recently announced the introduction of an auction-based trading mode to enhance fairness and transparency in the market.
Key Features
- Support for limit order submissions
- Indicative opening price display
- Order book remains in auction mode for at least 5 minutes
No trades will be executed during the auction period. Once completed, eligible orders will be matched at a unified opening price.
