Robust Growth and Institutional Validation for USDe

Ethena's latest monthly review reveals exceptional performance for its synthetic dollar asset, USDe. The supply surged by more than $700 million in September alone, underscoring strong market demand for the product.

Expanding Ecosystem Footprint

Beyond supply growth, USDe achieved significant adoption within the DeFi landscape. It is now the second-largest collateral asset on Morpho and the largest USD-denominated collateral. Furthermore, USDe launched on a dedicated market within Aave V4 and expanded its reach to the TRON network, enhancing its accessibility and liquidity.

Adding a layer of traditional finance credibility, Standard Chartered Bank initiated coverage with a research report forecasting that USDe's scale could grow approximately eightfold over the next two years.

A Strategic Pivot: Phasing Out Incentives

Amid rapid growth, the Ethena team announced a pivotal strategic shift. Starting late September, all token incentives and inflation mechanisms tied to USDe have been reduced to zero. This move signals a transition away from short-term token emissions to drive growth, focusing instead on organic demand and intrinsic product value.

Security Milestones and Product Launches

Security remains paramount. Ethena successfully completed a SOC 2 Type II audit, receiving a clean opinion with zero exceptions. This rigorous assessment is critical for building trust among users and institutional participants.

On the product front, the beta version of EthenaPay is now live. Additionally, the protocol's collaboration with Binance on basis trading strategies has been extended to include equity perpetuals, offering users a new tool for diversified yield generation.

September marked a month of both traction and transition for Ethena. Massive capital inflows and ecosystem expansion validate its product-market fit, while the removal of token incentives and completion of a top-tier audit demonstrate a commitment to building a more sustainable and trustworthy financial primitive.
