Crypto Portfolio Surpasses $10.7 Billion, Ethereum Takes Center Stage
As of June 21st, BitMine's combined cryptocurrency and cash holdings have reached a total value of $10.7 billion, with Ethereum emerging as the undisputed cornerstone of its investment strategy.
A Closer Look at the Holdings
BitMine's Ethereum reserves now stand at 5,672,956 ETH, reflecting a weekly increase of over 52,200 coins. This substantial holding represents approximately 4.7% of Ethereum's total circulating supply of roughly 120 million coins, granting the firm significant influence over the network's available liquidity.
Beyond Ethereum, the diversified portfolio includes:
- 205 Bitcoin
- $180 million in equity of Beast Industries
- A $104 million stake in Nasdaq-listed Eightco Holdings (Ticker: ORBS)
- $601 million in unencumbered cash
The Long-Term Bet: $8.2 Billion in Staked Ethereum
The most significant commitment lies in BitMine's deep involvement with the Ethereum network itself. The firm has staked a massive 4,718,677 ETH. Valued at an estimated $1,733 per coin, this staking position is worth approximately $8.2 billion.
This move goes beyond passive investment. By locking up such a vast amount of capital in the network's proof-of-stake consensus mechanism, BitMine is making a concrete, long-term bet on Ethereum's security and future growth, aligning its success directly with the health of the blockchain.
