Ethereum Spot ETFs Maintain Strong Inflow Momentum

Market data reveals a sustained appetite for Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), with the category attracting approximately $104 million in net inflows during the trading week of July 20-24. This marks the third straight week of positive net inflows, underscoring a consistent buildup in exposure, particularly from institutional investors.

Concentrated Flows: BlackRock Dominates

The inflow distribution was highly concentrated. BlackRock's Ethereum spot ETF emerged as the clear leader, drawing a dominant $96.3 million in net new capital last week alone. Since its launch, the fund has accumulated a total net inflow of $11.41 billion, solidifying its top position in the market.

The Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust followed, securing about $9.94 million in net inflows for the week, bringing its historical total to $1.81 billion.

Select Outflows Amid Broad Market Growth

While most funds saw inflows, Fidelity's Ethereum spot ETF experienced net outflows of around $6.18 million last week. It's important to note that this product still maintains a substantial historical net inflow of $2.12 billion. Such isolated outflows are common in dynamic ETF markets and can often be attributed to short-term tactical shifts or portfolio rebalancing by specific investors.

Expanding Market Footprint

The steady stream of capital has significantly expanded the sector's assets under management (AUM). The total net asset value for all Ethereum spot ETFs now stands at approximately $10.17 billion. This represents about 4.53% of Ethereum's total market capitalization held through these regulated investment vehicles. Cumulative net inflows since the ETFs began trading have surpassed $11.18 billion, highlighting a major milestone in traditional finance's adoption of core crypto assets.
