Stablecoin Innovation Enters New Phase
According to the latest announcement by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), four companies have been selected to participate in its regulatory sandbox for real-world testing of stablecoin-related services.
The selected firms include:
- Monee Financial Technologies
- ReStabilise
- Revolut
- VVTX
Rigorous Selection Process
These four firms were carefully chosen from more than 20 applications, reflecting the UK regulator's confidence in stablecoin technology and its potential for financial applications.
Testing Timeline and Focus Areas
The pilot tests are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026, with a focus on key areas including stablecoin issuance, payment systems, wholesale settlement mechanisms, and crypto asset trading.
