Record Growth in Traditional Finance: HTX's July Performance Highlights

HTX's latest monthly report reveals a period of substantial growth for its Traditional Finance asset segment. The most striking figure is a new all-time high in daily trading volume recorded at the end of July, representing an increase of more than ten times compared to the average daily volume in June.

Strategic Asset Expansion Targets High-Demand Sectors

The platform executed a focused asset expansion strategy in July, introducing a total of 56 new assets. The majority of these—51 to be precise—were popular stock contracts. This expansion was strategically aligned with four key market trends:

  • Commodities & Precious Metals
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) Chips
  • Data Storage

The AI and semiconductor supply chain emerged as the dominant theme. The platform listed contracts for core companies in the computing and storage space, such as SK Hynix, Micron Technology, and SanDisk, providing users with direct exposure to these high-growth technology sectors.

Broadening Product Suite Coupled with Enhanced Trading Experience

The continuous addition of new assets has brought the total variety of supported Traditional Finance assets on HTX to 170. This forms a comprehensive product ecosystem covering:

  • US-listed individual stocks
  • A range of ETF products
  • Special offerings like Pre-IPO contracts
The platform maintains a leading position in terms of the breadth of US stock coverage, aiming to be a one-stop gateway for trading global core assets.

Parallel to this "hardware" expansion, the "software"—the trading experience—has also been refined. In July, the platform completed deep adaptations specifically for Traditional Finance contracts. Key improvements were made to the index sources and funding rate mechanisms, allowing stock contract pricing to more accurately mirror the underlying spot markets. A dedicated navigation section was also launched on the web platform for easier discovery of stock listings. The stock contract Rebase function, expected to further enhance the trading experience, is scheduled for release in Q3 this year.

Metrics Confirm the Growth Trajectory

The results of this strategic focus and user experience upgrades are reflected in the trading metrics. The cumulative trading volume for HTX's Traditional Finance segment has reached approximately $2.5 billion. The record-breaking daily volume not only signals a sharp rise in user engagement but also indicates growing market recognition of the platform's offerings in this asset class.
