According to on-chain analysis, on February 7, Stani.eth, the founder of the decentralized lending protocol Aave, sold 1,700 ETH in the past 13 hours, worth approximately $3.53 million. Unlike previous transactions, this sale was not directly converted into stablecoin USDC, but rather swapped into 30,727 AAVE tokens via a single-sided liquidity provision.

Within the last 24 hours, Stani.eth has sold a total of 6,204 ETH, valued at around $11.88 million, with an average selling price of $1,916 per ETH. The shift in transaction approach has sparked widespread discussion about fund flow and the founder’s intentions.

Notably, the use of liquidity pools for this transaction suggests an effort to minimize direct market impact. This strategy is commonly employed in large transactions to avoid significant price fluctuations.
