In discussions with his Iraqi counterpart, Foreign Minister Araghchi briefed on recent regional developments, including progress related to a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States. He clearly stated:

Araghchi further outlined the prospects for fully restoring passage through the strait. He indicated that Iran's current focus is on removing all obstacles to regain the waterway's full navigational capacity.
