Senior Iranian Commander Claims Military Victory
A high-ranking Iranian military official has declared that Iran has prevailed in recent regional conflicts. According to reports from the Iranian Labour News Agency, Major General Mostafa Izadi, deputy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), stated that despite the adversary employing all available resources during what he termed the '12-Day War' and '40-Day War,' Iran secured victory through coordinated responses from the IRGC, armed forces, and civilian participants.
Media Campaigns Cannot Alter Battlefield Outcomes
General Izadi emphasized a central thesis in his remarks: the outcomes of warfare are determined on the ground. He argued that attempts by certain actors to shape perceptions of conflict results through propaganda and media campaigns are ultimately futile against established military realities.
"Propaganda cannot change the results of the battlefield," he stated unequivocally. "These tactics and narratives cannot influence our path to victory, nor can they alter the results we have already achieved."
Enhanced Readiness of Armed Forces
The senior commander also indicated that Iran's military is now on a heightened state of alert. He suggested that lessons learned from the recent confrontations have led to improved preparedness, stating that the armed forces are "now better prepared and more capable in defending the revolution and the current system."
Analysts suggest the statement serves several purposes:
- Asserting Iranian military superiority in concluded engagements
- Rejecting the efficacy of external information operations against military facts
- Signaling an upgrade in defensive readiness and capabilities
- Reaffirming commitment to the preservation of the existing political structure
Regional observers note that such declarations often function as domestic morale boosters, deterrents to potential adversaries, and tools for establishing narrative dominance in the international information space regarding the conflicts.
