Jingjia Micro Allocates Up to 900M Yuan in Loans to Fuel GPU Project Momentum

Jingjia Micro, a key player in China's domestic GPU sector, has made a strategic move to channel capital directly into its core research initiatives. The company disclosed plans to extend loans totaling up to 900 million yuan from its raised funds to two wholly-owned subsidiaries. This internal financing is designed to accelerate the progress of established GPU development and industrialization projects.

Targeted Funding for Two Strategic GPU Initiatives

The allocation details reveal a focused investment strategy. Subsidiary Changsha Jingmei Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd. will receive a loan not exceeding 200 million yuan, dedicated entirely to the "High-Performance General-Purpose GPU Chip R&D and Industrialization Project."

A larger financial injection, up to 700 million yuan, is slated for Changsha Jinyuan Zhi Technology Co., Ltd. This sum is split between two objectives: up to 500 million yuan for the same "High-Performance General-Purpose GPU Chip R&D and Industrialization Project," and an additional up to 200 million yuan earmarked specifically for the "Advanced General-Purpose GPU Architecture R&D Center Construction Project."

Streamlined Use of Raised Capital, Bypassing Shareholder Vote

Jingjia Micro clarified that this inter-company lending does not constitute a change in the intended use of the raised funds. All capital remains strictly committed to the previously disclosed fundraising projects. Consequently, the matter does not require approval from the company's shareholders' meeting, highlighting management's operational efficiency in deploying resources within the approved strategic framework.

Industry observers note that providing direct loans to the subsidiaries executing the projects can streamline fund deployment, ensuring timely financial support for R&D. This move is seen as a crucial step for Jingjia Micro to solidify and expand its technological edge in the competitive field of domestic high-performance graphics processors.
