Jumper to Spin Off and Launch Native Token
Cross-chain DEX aggregator Jumper has announced plans to spin off from its incubator LI.FI and operate as an independent entity. The transition will be marked by the platform's first token generation event, with JUMP tokens to be sold via the Legion launchpad in the coming weeks.
Market Traction and Positioning
Jumper has demonstrated strong product-market fit since its inception, having facilitated over $40 billion in cumulative trading volume. The platform currently serves more than 100,000 monthly active users and commands over 15% market share in cross-chain aggregation volume, establishing itself as a leading player in the multi-chain interoperability space.
Roadmap and Fund Allocation
The JUMP token sale represents Jumper's first fundraising initiative. The team clarified that no equity financing will occur concurrently, opting instead for a community-aligned model where token holders participate directly in ecosystem growth. Proceeds will be deployed across three core areas:
- Product development, including the imminent launch of Jumper Perps for perpetual futures trading
- Expansion into tokenized equities and real-world asset (RWA) trading capabilities
- Global user acquisition and ecosystem growth initiatives
The JUMP token itself will be issued following the completion of the sale. This milestone underscores Jumper's evolution from a cross-chain swap product into a comprehensive decentralized trading ecosystem with ambitious expansion plans.
