Settlement Policy for Markets Related to Khamenei
Kalshi co-founder and CEO Tarek Mansour stated on X that the company will not list markets directly tied to death to avoid profiting from such events.
For the markets related to Khamenei, Kalshi will implement the following measures:
- Refund all transaction fees
- Positions held before Khamenei's passing will be settled at the last traded price before his death
- Full refunds for positions opened after his passing
The company pledged to ensure no user losses from these markets and to settle based on the last price before the event occurred.
