New LIT Staking Feature Coming Soon
Recently, Lighter announced the upcoming launch of its LIT token staking service, which will offer users a new source of returns and trading benefits.
Key Staking Benefits
Each staked LIT token will immediately provide 10 USDC liquidity to the user’s LLP account. During the initial phase, a two-week grace period will be in place, allowing existing LLP holders to adjust their funds.

- Lowest trading fees will remain unchanged
- Retail trading will stay free
Earnings and Fee Reductions
The annualized yield for staked LIT will be announced by the platform. Initial rewards will come from the staking rights of premium users. Additionally, users staking 100 LIT tokens will enjoy zero withdrawal and transfer fees.
Gradual Rollout
The feature is currently rolling out to select users, with mobile access becoming available in the coming days.
