Significant Reduction in Cross-Chain Support for rsETH

In a move aimed at reinforcing security protocols and streamlining network operations, a major update will take effect soon. Cross-chain functionality for rsETH will be discontinued across a substantial number of networks after June 15.

Networks Impacted by the Change

The service withdrawal affects a total of 20 networks. Users interacting with rsETH on the following chains should take note:

  • Optimism
  • Manta
  • Mode
  • Blast
  • Scroll
  • XLayer
  • zkSync
  • Zircuit
  • Swellchain
  • Hemi
  • Berachain
  • Sonic
  • HyperEVM
  • Unichain
  • TAC
  • Avalanche
  • Plasma Stable
  • MegaETH
  • Monad
  • Movement

Required Action for Users

If you hold rsETH on any of the listed networks, it is imperative to bridge your assets back to the Ethereum mainnet before the June 15 deadline. Proactive migration is the most straightforward way to manage your holdings.

Post-Deadline Recovery Process

For assets not moved in time, a recovery mechanism will be available. However, this service will incur a fee of 100 USDC per address. Detailed instructions for the recovery application will be released closer to the cutoff date.

This strategic shift is designed to consolidate security measures and enhance operational efficiency. Users are strongly encouraged to act promptly to ensure a smooth transition for their assets.
