Leading Exchange Backs Major Blockchain Network Upgrade
A top-tier global cryptocurrency exchange has confirmed its support for the integration and migration of the Chiliz blockchain to its upgraded 2.0 mainnet. This move provides essential infrastructure backing for the technical evolution of this sports and entertainment-focused public chain.
The Upgrade: Unifying Token Contract Standards
The central aspect of this technical upgrade is the migration of the circulating CHZ token and its ecosystem of fan tokens to a new CAP20 token standard. The migration plan is as follows:
- CHZ Native Token: All CHZ tokens based on the legacy BEP2 standard will be automatically converted at a 1:1 ratio to the new CAP20 standard.
- Fan Tokens: All fan tokens, including but not limited to ACM, ASR, ATM, BAR, CITY, JUV, OG, and PSG, will also migrate from the existing Chiliz Legacy Chain and BEP20 standards to the CAP20 standard at a 1:1 ratio.
Seamless User Experience with Automated Migration
For users holding these assets on the exchange, the entire process will be fully automated. The platform will handle all technical aspects of the contract swap, requiring no action from users. Throughout and after the migration, all user functions—including asset holdings, trading, deposits, and withdrawals—will remain operational and unaffected.
This mainnet upgrade aims to enhance network performance, security, and scalability, laying a stronger technical foundation for future ecosystem growth. The exchange advises users to rely solely on its official channels for the detailed timeline and further instructions, cautioning against information from unofficial sources.
