Platform Commits to Permanent Hosting of NFT Data
In a recent announcement, Nifty Gateway, the NFT platform under Gemini, revealed plans to continue hosting metadata and media content of certain NFTs even after the platform shuts down, ensuring permanent access.
The company intends to migrate most NFT data to the decentralized storage network Arweave. However, NFTs minted in 2021 and earlier will remain reliant on Nifty Gateway's internal servers, with the company pledging to host them indefinitely.
Extended Deadline for User Asset Extraction
To make asset migration easier for users, the platform has extended the deadline for NFT withdrawals until April 23. Additionally, Nifty Gateway is developing a bulk extraction tool, allowing users to export multiple digital assets at once, improving efficiency.
