OKX Market Data Gets a Major Overhaul with Enhanced Features
OKX has rolled out a substantial update to its traditional finance (TradFi) market data services. The enhancement focuses on integrating more comprehensive contextual information directly into the trading interface, providing users with a richer data ecosystem alongside real-time price charts.
Introducing Two New Core Modules
The updated asset pages now feature two dedicated sections designed to deliver deeper insights:
- The "Company" Database: Tailored for tokenized stock assets, this module transforms the price page into a concise corporate profile. Investors can now access key details such as company overviews, essential financials, major shareholder information, and dividend history without leaving the platform. It brings fundamental analysis data directly to the point of decision.
- The "News" Aggregator: This section covers a broader range of assets, including select tokenized stocks and commodities like crude oil. It acts as a centralized feed, curating relevant content such as breaking news, in-depth market reports, corporate events (e.g., earnings releases), and analyst commentary. This helps users stay informed about factors influencing asset prices.
Expanded Suite of Financial Metrics
Complementing the new modules, the upgrade introduces a significant expansion of analytical tools. Over 20 commonly used financial indicators have been added to tokenized stock pages.
These metrics span critical evaluation areas like valuation, profitability, and returns. Key additions include the Price-to-Earnings (P/E) ratio, Price-to-Book (P/B) ratio, market capitalization, Earnings Per Share (EPS), and dividend yield. Previously, gathering this data might have required consulting external sources, but now it's available for quick reference in a unified view.
Collectively, these changes aim to bridge the gap between seeing a price and understanding the underlying value of an asset. For investors who prioritize fundamental analysis, these integrated tools promise to streamline research and support more informed trading decisions.
