"If competitors attempt to unite and leverage financial power to exert pressure, then the targeted party naturally needs the capacity to respond," Altman explained following a meeting with senators. However, he quickly pivoted to a more fundamental desire: "But what I would really like to see is the overall rules change. I would love to see money out of politics."
