Iran Escalates with Coordinated Strikes

In a significant development, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has publicly declared the commencement of a new military campaign, dubbed "True Promise-4." The operation is presented as a measured response to recent regional developments.

Multiple Strategic Targets Hit

The IRGC Navy stated in its communiqué that its forces successfully struck a large container vessel in regional waters using cruise missiles, causing a major fire onboard. Concurrently, long-range missiles were launched against strategic locations in and around Tel Aviv, key sites in Haifa, and industrial targets near Be'er Sheva.

The statement also confirmed strikes on a military installation in the Bat Hefer area.

US Naval Asset Targeted

A notable claim within the announcement involves a US Navy amphibious assault ship, reported to be carrying several thousand personnel. The IRGC asserts that the vessel was struck and subsequently compelled to withdraw to open waters in the southern Indian Ocean.

Joint Facility Attacked

Further expanding the scope of the operation, the IRGC indicated that a drone research and production center, operated jointly by the UAE and Israel, was attacked using drones and missiles. Additionally, several aircraft at an airbase were reported damaged.

Full verification of all claims is pending, but the announcements have markedly increased tensions across the region.
