Major Funding Boost for Tokenized Asset Management
The intersection of blockchain and asset management has witnessed a significant capital infusion. As reported by The Block on October 6, Spiko, an issuer specializing in tokenized money market funds, has successfully closed a substantial Series B funding round, raising $90 million. The round was led by the prominent venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates (NEA).
Substantial Growth in Capital and Scale
With this latest round, Spiko’s total funding to date has reached $120 million. The company’s operational growth is equally impressive: its Assets Under Management (AUM) have surged to $2.7 billion, and its services now extend across more than 25 global jurisdictions, reflecting strong market adoption and regulatory progress.
Strategic Focus: Product, Geography, and Talent
The fresh capital will be deployed across three strategic pillars:
- Product Development: Launching a new suite of fund products to expand its tokenized asset offerings.
- Market Expansion: Entering additional new markets and jurisdictions to grow its global footprint.
- Team Scaling: Attracting top talent in technology, finance, and compliance to support accelerated growth plans.
This funding provides Spiko with significant resources to advance its position in the rapidly evolving tokenized Real World Assets (RWA) landscape.
