Recently, the TON Foundation announced the launch of TON Pay, a new payment system designed to turn Telegram into a multi-functional platform that supports crypto payments. This tool will allow merchants and Mini App developers to directly accept cryptocurrency payments within Telegram.

Flexible and High-Performance Features

TON Pay is built as a wallet-agnostic payment layer, meaning users can complete transactions without relying on a specific wallet. It supports payments with multiple tokens, including Toncoin and USDT. Developers can quickly integrate payment features into Telegram Mini Apps using a single SDK.

Future Plans and Expansion Roadmap

Initially, TON Pay will mainly run on the Telegram Mini Apps platform, but future plans include expanding to Web and other platforms. In addition, the system will gradually introduce features like subscription payments, gas-free transactions, and region-specific fiat withdrawal support to enhance the user experience.
