Crypto.com has donated a total of $35 million to the pro-Trump super PAC MAGA Inc over the past year, including a $5 million donation in January this year.
Shortly after these donations, the exchange gained several regulatory advantages. Yesterday, Crypto.com successfully applied for a national trust bank charter, allowing it to offer digital asset custody, staking, and transaction settlement services under federal regulation.
Legal and Strategic Partnership Developments
Crypto.com is also involved in legal proceedings with Nevada over prediction markets and has filed motions in support of its position. At the same time, the platform has established a strategic partnership with Trump Media Tech Group, providing custody services and technical support for cryptocurrency ETFs and prediction markets.
