Upbit Delists Zilliqa (ZIL): Trading Halt and Asset Management Timeline
In a recent official notice, leading South Korean crypto exchange Upbit has announced the delisting of the Zilliqa (ZIL) token. This move will result in the complete termination of all trading services for ZIL on the platform.
Specific Trading Pairs Being Removed
The delisting affects the following two trading markets:
- ZIL/KRW (Korean Won pair)
- ZIL/BTC (Bitcoin pair)
All existing open orders for these pairs will be automatically canceled, and trading functionality will cease entirely at 15:00 (UTC+9) on November 16, 2026.
Critical Deadlines for Users
To ensure the safety of assets, ZIL holders must take note of two essential deadlines:
Trading Termination: November 16, 2026, 15:00
After this time, users will no longer be able to buy or sell ZIL on the Upbit exchange.
Final Withdrawal Deadline: December 16, 2026
This is the last day for users to withdraw their ZIL holdings from Upbit to an external private wallet. The exchange has clarified that ZIL assets remaining in Upbit wallets after this date will not be accessible or manageable through the platform, and users assume full responsibility for any assets not moved in time.
Users are advised to plan ahead and securely manage their ZIL balances before the specified deadlines to prevent potential loss.
