U.S. Government Bitcoin Address Shows New Activity
According to Arkham data, on March 4, a U.S. government-controlled Bitcoin address conducted two outgoing transfers — one of 0.24 BTC and another of 0.0568 BTC.
These movements followed an earlier transfer of 0.0378 BTC just two hours prior, bringing the total moved during the evening to 0.3346 BTC, equivalent to approximately $23,000 at current market rates.
Signs Point to Transaction Testing
The relatively small volume of these transfers has led analysts to speculate that this could be a test of the address’s ability to move funds on the blockchain.
- Short intervals between transactions
- Gradually increasing transfer amounts
- Unusual on-chain behavior pattern
These patterns suggest preparations may be underway for larger-scale movements in the near future.
