US Military Conducts Extensive Strikes Against Iranian Targets

According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt during a press briefing on March 4, the US military launched Operation Epic Fury over the weekend targeting Iran's ballistic missile infrastructure, naval forces, and regional proxy groups across the Middle East.

• More than 2000 targets have been struck so far
• Over 20 warships including a submarine were sunk
• Complete control over the Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, and Gulf of Oman has been achieved

Efforts to Thwart Nuclear Development

One of the key objectives of the operation was to prevent Iran from advancing its nuclear weapons capabilities. The US military has successfully destroyed multiple missile launchers and drone facilities, significantly weakening Iran's strategic deterrence.

Casualties and Strategic Readiness

During the operation, six US service members were killed in action. Leavitt emphasized that while there are no current plans to deploy ground forces, the President remains ready to consider all military options as needed.
