According to blockchain monitoring data, on February 26, Ethereum founder Vitalik continued to sell ETH in small batches. His wallet '0xfeb' has now completely sold out its 19,318 ETH holdings. At an average price of $2,004, this represents a total cashout of $38.7 million, leaving only 8.6 ETH remaining.
Earlier, Vitalik had publicly announced his intention to sell 16,384 ETH, but the actual volume sold so far has clearly exceeded expectations.
Back in late January, Vitalik hinted that the Ethereum Foundation would be entering a period of moderate contraction. As part of his personal strategy, he took on responsibilities that might have originally been handled by the Foundation's special programs. The initial plan to sell 16,384 ETH aimed to fund the development of an open-source, secure, and verifiable full-stack software and hardware system designed to protect personal privacy and public environments.
