On February 21, data from blockchain monitoring platform Onchain Lens showed that a wallet suspected to be linked with the Infini breach conducted a significant crypto transfer. The wallet exchanged 3,003 ETH, valued at approximately $5.89 million, for 87 WBTC at an average price of around $67,700 per ETH and moved the funds to another address.
This activity indicates that the attackers may be actively laundering the stolen funds to obscure their illicit origins. Security experts warn that such movements should raise red flags for exchanges and on-chain analytics platforms.
