According to new data from blockchain monitoring platform Onchain Lens, a long-dormant Bitcoin whale address has sent 1000 BTC to Bitfinex after five years of inactivity.
The transaction, valued at approximately $67.64 million, immediately caught the attention of market observers. This whale had not shown any activity previously, making this sudden movement a topic of intense speculation.
Notably, the address transferred funds directly to Bitfinex without using any privacy services or coin mixers, suggesting strong confidence in the transaction process.
