According to a report by blockchain monitoring platform Onchain Lens on February 6, a crypto whale suddenly withdrew 10,000 ETH worth $19.27 million from Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, after two years of inactivity.
Prior to this, between March 11, 2023, and April 19, 2024, the whale had gradually withdrawn a total of 43,562 ETH, equivalent to $104.2 million, which was then used for staking, further strengthening its on-chain influence.
