Ethereum Spot ETFs Extend Outflow Streak

Market data reveals that Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds experienced substantial net outflows of $273 million during the latest trading week (June 22-26). This marks the seventh consecutive week of net withdrawals for these products, highlighting a sustained cautious sentiment among investors.

Divergent Flows Across Major Funds

The bulk of the outflow was concentrated in products from leading asset managers. BlackRock's Ethereum spot ETF was the primary source of withdrawals, with a weekly net outflow of $236 million. Despite this recent movement, the fund's historical net inflow since launch remains substantial at $11.08 billion.

Grayscale's Ethereum Mini Trust product also saw net outflows of $22.22 million last week. Its cumulative net inflow stands at $1.83 billion.

Inflows Defy Broader Trend

Against the prevailing outflow trend, one fund managed to attract fresh capital. Bitwise's Ethereum spot ETF recorded a net inflow of $557,000 for the week, bringing its total historical net inflow to $385 million. This suggests that some investors are still making selective allocations even in a challenging environment.

Market Snapshot and Implications

As of the latest figures, the total net asset value of all Ethereum spot ETFs is approximately $8.38 billion. These ETF assets collectively represent about 4.42% of Ethereum's total market capitalization. The cumulative net inflow since the launch of these products has reached $10.9 billion.

The prolonged period of outflows may be attributed to several factors, including shifting expectations for Ethereum's near-term price action, the broader macro interest rate landscape, or portfolio rebalancing by institutional investors. This trend warrants close monitoring as it reflects evolving market dynamics.
