Trump's Bond Investments Draw Attention

According to recent financial disclosures released by the White House, Trump's investment portfolio includes corporate bonds from several companies affected by his administration's policies, totaling at least $51 million.

The documents reveal that Trump invested in bonds from firms like Netflix, CoreWeave, General Motors, Boeing, and Occidental Petroleum, as well as municipal bonds issued by cities, school districts, utilities, and hospitals.

Transaction Details Remain Unclear

Officials are only required to report transactions in ranges, so exact amounts and prices remain undisclosed. The report shows Trump made 189 bond purchases and two sales during the period from November 14 to December 29 last year, with the sales totaling at least $1.3 million.

Independent Investment Management

The U.S. government has stated that Trump has consistently followed disclosure rules, but he and his family do not manage the portfolio directly. The investments are handled by an independent financial institution.
